Not all steelhead patterns have to be tied with obnoxious bright fluorescent colors – in fact, there are times when the bright flies attract attention, maybe elicit a boil, but can’t close the deal. This is when a “comeback” fly comes into play. 

Successful steelhead anglers know that a fish that might toy with a brighter bigger pattern, but not eat such a pattern, will often charge hard for a duller, smaller pattern like the Anderson’s Euphoria. Just a little UV sparkle under the natural tans, browns, and blacks will tempt even the most stubborn steelhead to OPEN UP!
